Due to swine flu, Beverly's end of year event had to be postponed. She needed help moving gym equipment and repairing a trampoline. The guys come to the rescue. What a fun time.

Katemcy Rocks will be closing forever at the end of June - so this was Banged Up Off-Road's last time to celebrate Memorial Day there... Like last year, we donated a day of wheeling to the Relay for Life auction... And, like last year, Barbara and Jackie won the auction and were along for the ride! The wheeling was cut a little short on both Saturday and Sunday due to rain - but we gave it HELL before the bottom fell out. We had 17 rigs from BUOR - BIG THANKS to everyone for such an awesome showing... We also want to thank K-Rocks for years of totally phenomenal wheeling. We will miss you! But most of all - we all want to thank all of our brothers and sisters - past and present - who serve in our military. They are why we have the freedom and the life we have. Do not take their service for granted. Thank them every chance you get. Not just on Memorial Day.

The American Cancer Society - Relay for Life, was this past Friday 4/17. BIG THANKS to all of you who walked and helped make this event a success. Even BIGGER THANKS to BEVERLY for organizing and leading our team... Somebody has to get our lazy butts doing something! We once again donated a wheeling trip to K-Rocks in the Silent Auction... And once again Barbara Behal bought it - this time she paid $460! Yes - she had some competition in the auction after everyone heard what a good time she had with us last year! All total, BUOR raised over $2900 and had a blast doing it...

Some of the BUOR crew (who have also decided to become bikers) recently went to South Padre Island for Bikefest 2008. While there, Clay and Sarah decided to "tie the knot". Congratulations to you both and our best wishes for a LONG and HAPPY marriage!

What would the 4th of JUlY be without a parade - BANGED UP STYLE! So, that's what we did... BIG THANKS to those who participated and helped decorate the rigs!

TEAM HIRO (Richard, Larry, and Frank) and TEAM KID (Matt, Lance, and Wes) competed in the 2008 Sportsman's Team Challenge Nationals. TEAM KID finished 1st in Division AA and TEAM HIRO finished 6th in Division A out of a total of 71 teams.

In usual fashion the BUOR crew headed for KATEMCY ROCKS for Memorial Day weekend... We had an AWESOME time! Great wheeling, great friends, great food, and GREAT MUSIC by the JOHN D. HALE BAND! We also had two special guests with us this trip - Barbara and Jackie. These were the ladies that bought the trip we donated in the RELAY FOR LIFE last month. Now - these ladies had never been wheeling before - much less wheeling with BUOR! But we think they had a really good time. I know we had a great time with them!

Our 4th Annual Wild Game Dinner was a blast! Toby, Robert, French Fry, and Cecil did an AWESOME job cooking. I think everyone had a great time - oh except for the band... I don't think you have to worry about Back Door Pissy Pants ever being at another one of our events.
